Custom Jewelry Design

Working as a bench jeweler for over 45 years, I have seen many changes in our industry.

In the early days of my career, fabricating a mounting by forming and soldering together many pieces of metal was a custom piece of jewelry.

I then learned wax carving and the lost wax casting method. It was very difficult convincing my customers that a green piece of wax would be their anxiously awaited custom item. They could not visualize the item the way I envisioned the finished design.

We now have Computer Aided Design. I create the item, using specialized software for the jewelry industry and 3d model printing technology.

I only do design work for Retail Stores.
